A website for your Google Business Profile - ready today
Your profile gets you onto the map. The website link in it is where a customer goes next - make sure it leads somewhere that answers their questions.

Google used to let businesses build a simple website straight from their Business Profile, at an address ending in business.site. In 2024 Google shut those sites down: they stopped working and the links in many profiles now lead nowhere or to the profile itself. If you had one, your profile may be showing customers a dead or missing website.
The fix is a real website on your own domain, which you then paste into the Website field of your profile. It is yours, it does not depend on a free product that can be switched off, and it can say far more than a profile can.
Why the profile and the website work best together
Google uses both when it decides who to show for local searches. The profile gives the location, hours and reviews; the website gives the detail - services, prices, menus, the areas you cover - as text Google can read. When the name, address and phone on both match, Google trusts the business more.
- same business name, address and phone on the site and the profile
- the same hours, kept up to date in both places
- the services or menu on the site, written as text
- a link from the site back to your Google reviews
How to connect them
Once your site is live on your domain, open your Business Profile, choose Edit profile, find the Website field and paste your new address. It usually shows up within a few days. You keep full control of both - we build and host the website; your profile stays in your Google account.

Questions people ask
Do I still need a website if I have a Google Business Profile?
The profile is great for the map, but it holds very little text and you cannot shape it the way you want. A website gives Google and customers the detail that decides who gets the call, and its link is one of the first things people tap in your profile.
My old business.site website stopped working. What do I do?
Make a new site on your own domain and replace the old link in your profile's Website field. The drafts are free, and the finished site can be live the same day.
Will you edit my Google Business Profile?
No - the profile stays in your Google account and only you change it. We build the website and connect your domain; you paste the address into your profile.
